Metaverse is a 3D and all-digital world through which users can create their own digital avatars. Metaverse technology is closely related to and uses Virtual Reality(VR), Augmented Reality(AR), Mixed Reality(MR) and Artificial Intelligence(AI) technologies. The applications of Metaverse in veterinary medicine and animal husbandry include: virtual visit of animals by a veterinarian, veterinary education, veterinary surgery, communication with other cooperating veterinarians for help or consultation during surgery, animal feeding and lactation, familiarization with the anatomy of the animal body, use From 3D images to measure animal health and animal disease, facilitate finding veins, more accurate diagnosis, understanding animal emotions and behavior, and evaluating emotional states in animals. Among the benefits of Metaverse, we can mention innovation in health care, facilitating the interaction of information, facilitating disease diagnosis, the feeling of being in the real environment, and ease of storing and retrieving disease information. Among the disadvantages of metaverse, we can point out that it requires advanced digital technologies, high cost, strict control, instability and demeaning. Over time, the problems and disadvantages of Metaverse will decrease and its use will expand in various fields of livestock and veterinary medicine.
