About The Journal of Agricultural Information Sciences and Technology (JAIST)
The Journal of Agricultural Information Sciences and Technology (JAIST) is a scientific-extensional publication that has been publishing bi-quarterly at the Agricultural Ceter for Information Science and Technology (ACIST) since the beginning of 2017. JAIST publishes extensional findings in the fields of agricultural information, agricultural information science and technology, management issues of libraries and agricultural information centers, and agricultural intelligence. On 24 September of 2018, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, issued a license to the AITC for the offline publication of JAIST. Therefore, JAIST publish online and has no printed equivalent. The colleagues of JAIST hope that the publication of the promotional findings of this magazine can pave the way for a better future of the country's information society, especially in the field of agriculture.
Outstanding features of JAIST
- The first all-extensional and all-electronic jornal in the field of Knowledge and information science and agricultural information technology in the country;
- Uses an editorial board consist of experts from both fields of Knowledge and information science and Agricultural Information Technology among faculty members and university and organizational researchers;
- Journal follows a double-blind peer review (that is, neither the author is aware of the referees' profile, nor the referees are aware of the author's profile) and each article review by at least 2 subject experts;
- Gaining the first rank of ‘compliance with the publishing standard of extensional magazines’, among the extensional magazines of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) since 2017;
- Full electronic publishing of articles as soon as the process of receiving and peer reviewing of articles is completed;
- Publishing the title and abstract of the articles in ‘Coming soon’ section of JAIST soon after finishing the peer review and correction process;
- All accepted articles are free accessed in two PDF and XML formats;
- Most of the author(s) will receive the acceptance or rejection of their article within 10 days max;
