Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the status of compliance with the "Methodology for Evaluation and Ranking of Scientific Publications" of the MSRT in the extensional journals of AREEO. The research community consists of 18 agricultural extensional journals that were being published until 3/27/2023 and were accessible from the Agriculture Virtual Library section on the website of the ACIST. The research method was a descriptive survey. To collect research data, a researcher-made checklist was used, which consisted of 49 indicators. A checklist was completed for each journal. The collected data were processed in Excel software. Descriptive statistics methods (frequency, average, tables) have been used to analyze the data. The findings of the research showed that the average compliance with the indicators of the publication guidelines in the extensional journals of AREEO was 49.10%. Among the six main indicators of publication, the index of "structure and quality of articles" (87.32 percent) has the highest score, and the general indicators of "observance of publication ethics" (20.66) and "publishing in indexes" (21.70) have the lowest rank. "Agricultural Information Science and Technology" with 94.5 out of 100 points, was the only extensional magazine of AREEO that has received "A" rating.
