Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the degree of adaptation of scientific researches of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization by indexes of Scopus Citation Database. Therefore, the selection process was scrutinized at the Scopus Citation Base and the journals were validated based on the criteria to identify the weaknesses of the scientific research journal of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization for indexation at this site.
Methodology: The present research is a descriptive-applied research that has been carried out using scientometric methods. The data collection tool is an assessment log, which is based on the structural criteria expected from the Scopus International Index.
Results: The main criteria for standardizing magazines for indexing in Scopus citation databases were based on five main criteria (journal policy, content, scientific rank, order and online access). Major forms of journals include the absence of a codified policy, the ethics of publishing, the geographical diversity among editorial staff, the arbitration process, and the type of alignment, the timing of publication, the abstract, and the list of resources and the keyword in English, the number of citations to articles. Among their strengths is the English website, free access to full text of articles, the existence of a standard international number, consistent with the goals and subject area.
